Mesick Mushroom Festival Grand Parade
The Twinsikins were invited to participate in the Grand Parade at the 2010 Mesick Mushroom Festival! They'll join in that kind of fun, rain or shine, and it was rain (with sleet!) on May 8! Visitors braving the weather for the peak of the morel mushroom season had the opportunity to see the girls in their "mushroom coats" and meet them in the flesh.

Midge and Myrtle celebrated their third birthday with friends and family on April 25, 2010. Guests visited the farm from 2-4 in the afternoon, congratulated the girls, and shared their gigantic Twin Clydes cupcake cake. The party was featured on the evening news with an interview of Liz Kennedy by Traverse City's 7&4 anchor, Bill Froehlich (See the news story!).

The Twinsikins travelled to Columbus, Ohio to participate in the 2010 Equine Affaire on April 8-11. They met fans, posed for photos, performed in the Clydesdale breed demonstration, and had a great time overall! Visitors got to shop and purchase the latest in Twinsikins merchandise.

Twinsikins Midge and Myrtle attended the Michigan Horse Council's Stallion Expo in East Lansing on March 12-14, 2010, where they met the crowd and posed with visitors for photos. In addition to meeting the Twinskins, guests to the Twin Clydes exhibit saw video of the Twinsikins' birth and photos from their first two years, and shopped for Twinsikins merchandise).

Twinsikins Midge and Myrtle accepted an invitation to appear at the North American Horse Fest in Novi, Michigan on December 11-13, 2009. Visitors were able to meet the Twinsikins and pick up the full-color 2010 Midge and Myrtle calendar (also available for purchase online!).

Midge and Myrtle worked to support Women's Health at the 2009 Lope for Hope Classic. For a donation to the charity, attendees could meet, pet, and have a photo taken with The Twinsikins!.
